About the hotel

The Saracens Head, an old coaching inn, situated just 5 miles from London Stansted airport in Great Dunmow.

This historic hotel has been welcoming visitors for nearly 400 years. The 16th century coaching inn stands opposite the old market place at Great Dunmow, with easy access from the m11 and London Stansted Airport. This property was built in 1560.

Totally refurbished in March 2003, this historic hotel offers guests well appointed bedrooms to include TV, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer and coffee and tea making facilities. Ideally situated on the high street of Dunmow town centre, the Saracens head hotel offers a choice of 2 conference and banqueting rooms, a fully licensed restaurant and bar.
